AVTOVAZ TO PROVIDE NISSAN WARRANTY IN RUSSIA

AVTOVAZ TO PROVIDE WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE FOR NISSAN ON THE RUSSIAN MARKET

As part of the agreements on a 100% transfer of the Russian assets of “Nissan Manufacturing Rus” into the state ownership, AVTOVAZ to take on the tasks for warranty and after-sales service of the Nissan cars on the Russian market, as well as for supplies of spare parts to the dealership network of the Japanese brand.

After signing the required agreements AVTOVAZ will start transferring under its management functions of warranty and after-sales service for Nissan clients. To do this, the Company will use the same successful case it experienced with the Renault brand. It is planned that Nissan dealers, which decide to continue working with the Japanese brand, will sign corresponding agreements with AVTOVAZ, that in its turn will take control of the central stock and will set up shipments of the necessary parts and consumables.

“In the context of growing sanctions pressure and increased uncertainties AVTOVAZ will make every effort to successfully and promptly transfer the warranty and after-sales service system of Nissan cars on the Russian market under its management. Our priority is to ensure continuous service for customers and to preserve the level of service,” the President of “AVTOVAZ” JSC Maksim Sokolov stated.
